The English department is pleased to offer several hybrid courses in Fall 09. A hybrid course is one that is taken one day in a classroom and the remainder of the week in a flexible online environment. So, students get the valuable interaction of a traditional classroom, with the flexibility afforded through online learning. In a hybrid class, you will interact through in-class discussions as well as through online blogs, discussion boards, and many other creative uses of online space.
